📊Friday, April 3rd MARKET WATCH!!!🏡 SUNBURN EDITION!😎 Anybody else stay outside too long yesterday and get your first sunburn of the year? While I was at home getting burnt at least 6 other realtors were making deals. 6 Accepted offers were recorded yesterday in our MLS for Tippecanoe County. Highest asking price was $358,900 and lowest was $105K with an average at $209K. 4 of the 6 Accepted Offers were made within 3 days of the home being on the market. So, even though these numbers are down quite a bit, buyer competition is still fierce in large part because inventory is so low. With only 185 available houses on the market, there's still not much for buyers to choose from, which is keeping home values stable. This time last year we had around 240 homes on the market (going off memory here, so don't hold me to that number🤓
). You can see by the Daily New Listings chart that inventory is trending downwards since I started tracking this. For sellers this a good thing, less competition is better. For buyers, well, you should be used to this by now 😅 Let's keep it safe, everyone, and continue to find new ways to help people achieve their goals while keeping safety the number one priority! *information is deemed reliable but not definitive* #lafayetteindiana #lafayetterealestate #westlafayette #westlafayetterealestate #westlafayettehomes #boilerup #privaterealtor
